The cell I made ran for over 4 months!

I made a multi cell crystal cell using the equal parts of alum, no salt, Epsom salt, and borax. 7 copper pipes about 4 inches long and same magnesium rod from old water heaters. It put out 9.5 volts for two weeks straight, then it went down to 7.5 volts for over 4 months. It was light a 12volt LED module with 36 LED's on the whole time. It was never disconnected! I was using it as a flashlight when the power went out and dropped it. All the wire came apart. I am going to add more cells soon to bring it up to a constant 12volts.
