I think for Super Magnetic Electrical Energy storage a bi-directional multi-channel toroidal working coil is best to use due to the harmonic frequency of the channels. This could store far more energy (and information) in the coils per-unit mass of field flux. No only this but the toroid wire geometry will mathematically confine the magnetic field flux to reduce material strain within the supermagnetic core. SMES This could be perfect for long distance satellites to store energy for use at a time long after their power sources have run out.
