Hi Guyzzemf,
Whatever number of Transistor you use divide that by 6 and that will give you the Battery Voltage, dividing again this by 12 would give you the Number of 12v Battery needed for use in your set up but the Transistor size suggest that it is a BD234C or 2N3055 (Plastic package), hence its the AMP-Hour(Capacity) and not Voltage that will have to be computed for, hence substitute the Voltage(not 12 V But say 7.5 Ah per Battery )with Ah and then those many Batteries in Parallel to add to the Effective Ah Capacity to drive your set-up. the set up is neat and present ful..
