i have a cap dump, which switches the negativ lane ..
this works not for SG8-kit in attraction mode... i guess and tested following
weeks ago the cap dump worked well,
with my first single transistor.. single coil, repel setup...
later it was attraction setup too, but i did not used the cap dump with that attraction mode...
today
SG8-kit in attraction mode
SG8-kit "charge +" goes to "cap +" goes to "battery +"... easy
then
the "cap -" connects to the coil ends.. where all ends are combined as one and this
this negativ lane is switched off/on..... goes to neg of charging battery..
THIS WORKS NOT
i can here that the setup only triggers, when i switch on... close connection, otherwise NOT
then i tested
without cap dump, only a cap parallel to charge battery...
between charge battery and SG8-Kit Board and Coil combined end...
hook up a digitalmeter to check voltage of the cap..
now disconnect at the "charge -" the "primary +" connection --> the wheel does not trigger, slowing down
now disconnect at the "charge -" the "cap-" connection --> the wheel does not trigger, slowing down
cap only at around 25 volts..
now disconnect at the "charge +" the "cap+" connection --> the wheel triggers,does not slow
and now, the cap is charging up into the sky... 60V and more...
so i have to switch the positive lane instead of the negativ ?
Attraction or Repulsion mode doesnt matter which...

coil output -> fwbr -> cap dump unit -> charge battery

and the primary positive goes to cap negativ... instead to the charge negativ ...
now it works..
