Need help with resistor values

Trying to build a transistor tester as described in the intermediate handbook, I haven't had anybody answer on the intermediate forum so I'm wondering if someone can help me. I know that I need the resistors, 500ma ammeter, and 100K pot, but what are the resistors supposed to be rated at 1/4 watt or 1/2 watt? Can someone help? Thank You. Paul

Paul,

Any wattage should work since the current in that tester is small. Mine were 1/4 W which are the smallest. I started with an 500 ma Analog Amp meter but end up switching to a Digital DMM since it was easier to read the digits accurately. Good luck with your build!
