I added 14 RPM just by using wide tape on my wheel! Silly thing is I used wide tape early on in my builds, then switched to thin tape as its cheaper as I was swapping out magnets a lot during some tests.
The thin tape on my wheel was threatening to let my magnets loose last night so I reinforced it with wider tape and noticed my RPM increase from 470 to 484!
Would be nice to enclose all those suckers with a heat shrink or something to really reduce the wind resistance.
