R-Charge SSG Kit

Wanted to ask if anyone has used the SSG Parts Kit from r-charge.net? Does the coil have the correct number of winds, and is the spool large enough?

I know the 3PM Kit has issues, so just wanted to double-check before I spend any more money there...

I would not buy the 3pm kit again, too expencive, with online 3D-Print-Service you would get a frame or many more for less..., so my tip is, order only the coils for 3pm or for bicycle version. build jb bicycle wheel and buy only the complex bifi/trifi... Coils from r-charge, to follow jb dvd advices

remember, 3pm kit uses inch metrics, not meter..
if you are living in an inch enviroment its ok, if not, you could have a tiny problem,
if you want interchange bearings or axis..,
or couple metric axis to main axis..

What are you referring to with the 3d Print Service? Never heard of that...

MJL21194 Transistor - 3euro - 5euro per piece,
8 ceramic 8 magnets (3/8 by 1 7/8 by 7/8 ceramic grade 8 magnets) -
Quadermagnete Blockmagnete*60**x*30*x*10*mm*(Ferrit-Magnete) - supermagnete - 1 euro per piece
(for bigger wheels we recommend 12-24 magnets) - you will want buy more! as delivered in this kit.. normal bicycle whell 16 magnets
two diodes - cents
one resistor - cents, you will want to buy a set of resistors.. to interchange, tune..
1 potentiometer - 1euro - 5 euro,
one neon bulb - cents
one small piece of aluminum with some transistor grease between it and the transistor - 2 euro.. or disassemlbe old computer power supply...
2 coils of wire wound bifilar on a spool with the welding rods cut and fitted in the spool as the core - thats what you have to buy there.. self coil wrapping is for later.. and the corrects rods.. you get there.. finding excat same rods in your enviroment isnt easy.. you would have to buy alternative, similar but not excat same ...
summe ca 20-30 euro... for parts except coils and rods..
Bifillar wound #26 and #23 Wire 450 Foot (about 900 winds) long coils - 45 dollars..
so.. for 100 dollars i would buy 2 of this coils

if the money doesnt hurt - buy the set,
if you have NO ACCESS to electronics shop near NOR a good electronics webshop in your country.. buy the set..

otherwise.. buy the coils there.. and organize the rest by yourself...
thats only my opinion,

3D-Printer Services - that is growing market.. you have to build a 3D-Modell, upload it to the service, pay for that... get a package with your ordered part(s).. material can be several plastic types.. i think about ordering timing-wheels...
Beta 3D - English but there are a lot more out there!! search for them.. in last months there were good articles in media press about actual market.. in germany at least..
