  • Spools for coils

    Hello!!
At the moment i am gathering the material for assembling my first monopole energizer.
I would like though to ask you one question.
I would like to buy the following so as to wind the coils.
    ABS PLASTIC BOBBINS -100x100x63x16mm -REEL/SPOOL

    from ebay.
Will this dimension of spools be useful for future assemblies (larger, more coils etc.)?
Is the same spool size used through out all the energizers?
On the videos all the spools look the same. Only the amount of wire seems to change..

    Thanx from Greece!

I don't think that this is the right size. I recall a width of 3", 0.75" internal for the
R60 rods and flanges also of 3" diameter.

I shall make one out of 3" of black plastic water tubing and Araldite the flanges
    duly drilled out.

      It was very close though..
I ended up making a spool out of carton and balsa wood that i had spare in my stock.
The procedure went fine for winding two wires (triger and power) ss ssg
      thanx
