The microwave oven mains transformer has a free supply of excellent copper
enamel coated wire. (An effort to get to, but well worth the aggravation).
For a mains voltage of 240 volts, the wire is approx 0.45mm and 0.95mm,
i.e. AWG 25 and 19. (The weight of the thin wire coil is around 800g and
the thick coil 430g, for those who might work out the consequent length).
Is there a way to use this free wire on the bifilar coil and adapt the circuit
if necessary?
