That should probably be discussed in another thread since that topic is not covered in the beginner's handbook.

Anyone know if that is discussed in another thread here already?

    Bedini SG Spools

    Hi John,

    Thanks for the offer.

Have moved forward using some Schedule 40 pipe 3/4" nominal size. It has an ID of .804, which is .054 inch off of the .750 inch diameter called for. Had some ABS sheet to use for the end plates and glued it up. Maybe posting this will help others.

    Hi IndianaBoys,

Where are you located? I have some of the correct size in Australia and know someone in the US who has some as well.

Great job on bringing this book together.

Have not seen this question posted on this thread.

Been looking for the exact spool referred to in the book = 3.25 inches high, 3.5 inches in diameter, central cylinder .75 inch diameter.

Closest have been able to find is over at:
10 Spools used with Regular size Bedini Monopole Energizers.
    = 3 3/4" H by 3.5" top and bottom, 3/4 bore.

Does it need to be exact or will the above work?

Anybody have a source for the exact one specified in the book? = 3.25 inches high, 3.5 inches in diameter, central cylinder .75 inch diameter.

    Thanks again,

    IndianaBoys

PS - also looking forward to Book 2 and Book 3 when they are available!

A quick scope shot without charge battery, 1 neon popped while doing this

uh.... dont do that, you may have damaged some transistors, if you popped a neon you definitely want to check the transistor that it was attached to.

Assuming all else is perfect, it could also be due to the magnet to coil relationship...

it is just the sample rate on your scope and how it catches the pulse, and how it can redraw the screen. looks good, I dont see the hi peak every peak on my digital scope, easier to see on my analog one.
