So I've had my crystal battery running for about a week now...and I've been trying to brainstorm some cool uses for it. Has anyone else though about having it run a small turntable (record player)? I wouldn't think it would take much current to run a small, efficient motor to rotate the record. You could maybe add a POT to adjust the RPM to the appropriate speed.
I think it would be a really cool project!
