New Member Registration Problems

Hello everyone,

We are aware there are some problems with the registration.

Some of you report that when clicking the activation link in the email that
it just sends you back to the original registration page.

We appreciate your patience while we look into this.

We did a random search of the memberships of some of you that reported not being able to get past page one of the registration because when you click the activation link, it takes you back. It did the same for us during the test.

HOWEVER - you actually are registered. If you see Welcome, YOURUSERNAME...
then you are actually logged in and can post.

We will still get this resolved but you should be able to post no problem.

If you still cannot log in, please send a private message to the Admin account.

The registration should be fixed now. If you can't log in, then please retry, it will work now.

Thanks for all you effort in getting all of us registered.
1. I got a really long ID but found not place to enter it?
2. I used my full name and it is too long to login with, can I make a shorter name?

Michael,

The activation was automated. You don't have to enter it. Since you could post your message, you're fully activated.

If you use the same computer to log in, you can have your browser remember the username so you don't have to type in the whole thing. If you are logged out and click in the username field - usually, you only have to type the first letter M and you will see the whole name popup. Just click that and you don't have to type it.

I tried the username field but it did not give me a list, low priority problem.

There were some members that never received a confirmation. If you are one such member or know someone that is, please login because your account is activated. Please pass this on to the others.

There were some of you who registered but didn't get a confirmation link in the last 24 hours. You ARE active and don't need to confirm. Please log in and you can post.

There have been quite a few registrations and some new members did not confirm their activation links yet.

They WERE sent. Please check in the spam or bulk mail folders.

They were all resent today so please check again.

All new members that couldn't post are now able to login and post - please pass that on.
