Primary Battery Pumping

Could someone shed some light on the battery back pumping JB talks about.

My primary battery doesn't do this so I'm curious.

Its Battery Back-popping..and not Battery Back pumping...
you will find the explanation in the Tom Bearden website..
its about Making the Battery charge itself and Power an External Load across its terminals at the same time.
